What are Training Units?

Training units are a convenient and cost-effective way to realise volume savings on Progress Training Courses. Progress customers are encouraged to purchase Training Units to train staff and subcontractors.

Each Training Unit is redeemable for one day training. The more Units you buy at one time, the more you save. Discounts increase with the volume of Training Units purchased.

How to use them?

Each Training Units set receives a unique ID. When a student/customer wants to use their outstanding Training Unit days to enrol on a course, they need to quote their Education Training Unit ID on the enrolment form. No more fuss about bringing cheques to the course or raising purchase orders. The training has already been paid for!

You pay for the Training Units with one payment when they are initially purchased. Training Units cannot be used until they have actually been paid for.

The Training Units information is maintained by Education Services. Reports are mailed on a regular basis to customers with outstanding Training Units. Reports can also be provided on request at any time.

How many Training Units should we purchase?

The courses offered by Progress Education Services may differ from time to time. Old courses disappear from the schedule as new ones develop. When planning your training needs, avoid the confusion of course availability by first determining your overall training needs:

Summarise the total number of training days you are planning for each individual developer, then refer to the price list for the appropriate price range.

Contact Progress Education Services or your Progress Sales representative and purchase the amount of days as one set of Training Units.

Dealing in Training Units

You can on-sell Progress Training Unit to your customers, contractors or end-users for whatever price you choose.

Training Units are valid for twelve months from date of purchase - no refund is given for unused Training Units.
